I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families — whatever brought you here, we'll work together to meet your unique needs and goals.
I often support people navigating:
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and addiction
- Relationship challenges, including communication and infidelity
- Family conflict and parenting
- Support for first responders
If you don't see your particular concern listed here, please don't hesitate to reach out — therapy is often about more than fitting neatly into a category.
Sessions are available virtually only for Ontario residents.
Sessions are held through Jane App, a secure practice management platform built to meet Canadian privacy standards, including PHIPA and PIPEDA. Your privacy and confidentiality are protected throughout our time together, both during sessions and in how your information is stored.
Do I need any special equipment for online therapy? Not really — just a private, quiet space where you won't be interrupted, along with a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. You'll receive a secure link before each session; there's no software to download or account to create.
I believe cost shouldn't be a barrier to getting support, and I want to be upfront and transparent about what sessions cost so you can plan with confidence.
All sessions are 60 minutes.
Session Type — Fee:
Individual — $190; Couples — $225; Family — $250; Clinical Consultation — $250; Assessment Services — TBD
A limited number of sliding scale spots are available for those who meet financial need criteria. If cost is a concern, please reach out — I'm happy to talk through what might be possible.
Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise arranged. I accept credit card payments only — a card on file is charged automatically through the Jane App at the time of your session.
Many extended health benefits plans cover psychotherapy or social work services.
I'd encourage you to check with your provider about your specific coverage before we begin.
You'll receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
As a solo, appointment-based practice, last-minute cancellations have a real impact — both on my ability to offer that time to another client who's waiting for support, and on the practical side of running my practice. For that reason, I ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Without that notice, you'll be responsible for the full session fee.
For exceptional circumstances, please reach out — I'm happy to discuss this with you directly.
If you're able to give more than 48 hours' notice, I always appreciate it — it makes it easier to offer that spot to someone else who needs it. You can reach me directly by phone or email to cancel or reschedule.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy, and I'm both ethically and legally bound to protect what you share with me. That said, there are a small number of specific situations where the law requires me to break confidentiality, even without your consent:
- If I receive a subpoena or court order, or am otherwise legally required to disclose information;
- If I become aware that a child is in need of protection, as outlined under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (2017);
- If there's a significant risk that you or someone else could experience serious bodily harm;
- If emergency medical care is needed and there isn't time to get your consent, provided you haven't already told me not to disclose in that situation; or
- If you're a regulated health professional and mandatory reporting applies under the Regulated Health Professions Act (1991).
Even when disclosure is legally required, I'll always aim to share only what's necessary. With your consent, or when otherwise permitted under privacy law for purposes connected to your care, information may also be shared.
Because our sessions take place online, I'll also walk you through any additional considerations specific to virtual care before we begin — including how your information is stored and any limits particular to online sessions.
There's no one-size-fits-all timeline — therapy moves at the pace that's right for you and what you're working through. Some concerns respond well to shorter-term, focused work; others, especially trauma or long-standing patterns, benefit from a longer relationship built over time. We'll revisit this together as we go.
During your first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what has brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals. Together, we'll develop a personalized approach that supports your needs and builds on your strengths.Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and paced according to your comfort level. Every person's journey is different, and sessions are tailored to what is most important to you. There's no pressure to share everything at once.
Getting started is simple. Book a free 15-minute consultation, or reach out through the website, and we'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy right now. From there, we'll figure out together whether it feels like the right fit before booking your first full session
